“I began my explant journey almost 5 years ago. I had done my research and knew that Dr. Rankin would be my surgeon. I scheduled my surgery and had almost a year wait until my date, then…Covid and the world went crazy. I canceled my surgery (in hindsight I wish I hadn’t). They happily refunded my deposit without issue. Then by the time I got around to scheduling again, I had to wait a year and a half. At first I was discouraged, but then I realized that only confirmed I had chosen the right doctor because his expertise was obviously in high demand!
