To say that Dr. Quan changed my life would be a tremendous understatement. 5 years ago, I was involved in a car accident that left trauma to my neck & lower back. 2 years ago, I had surgery to repair a torn tendon on my wrist with a benign tumor growth. After countless doctors and procedures over the years, I finally came to accept that unfortunately these injuries would cause me to forever live a low quality of life in constant pain. I started seeing Dr. Quan just two months before a planned month long trip to Australia and New Zealand. I was not able to walk more than 1/4 mile without excruciating sciatic pain setting in. Additionally, I have very bad arthritis in my sacral area and moderate spinal stenosis in 3 areas of my spine. My hope was that I would be able to walk at least a mile or two with moderate pain.On my month long trip I walked over 5 miles in total on some days. I was able to handle a 2-3 mile walk/hike with minimal pain.
