This experience was anything but professional and/or dependable. Not only was it a half completed job in which I was charged in full for and promised a return visit it was a very negative experience. This electrician refused to communicate back with me to complete the work but the way he spoke to me as a young mom of five I found to be both rude and inappropriate. It goes without saying I have asked he not be invited back in the future to work in our building but after over a month we are left with exposed wire and an incomplete project.Services: Electrical wiring installation

Bought a house in the Farms 3 years ago and recently got married....to a girl in the Farms! Soooo, bigger house (and yard) and needed some upgrades. Read F.B. in JFR residents and called 3 companies. One was astronomical and it seemed they wanted to pull new ground wire for my panel upgrade from I-95 based on the price. The second looked really strong after they gave me one price in person, BUUUuuutt...then raised it by $200 in the follow up e-mail. Thinking it was a mistake, I asked and was told, "We added the $200 for 'removal of old equipment' and in case there were more breakers than we anticipated." So they got to enjoy a nice tall glass of Get Bent. (Their "dojo" is weak) Finally called George at Dependable. He was great on the phone and sent his son Billy out to estimate my job. Not only did he tell me I DIDN'T need everything the other companies had quoted, but gave me a very fair price for panel upgrade, removal of an outdated transfer switch, install a NEW generator hookup (outside garage wall), AND new 50 AMP service for the forthcoming pool heater. Super personable and highly efficient Billy told me two days Friday and Monday to finish. He was punctual, tolerated my stupid questions and (as the name implies...) dependable all the way. A real pleasure to do business with as a Farms neighbor OR for your condo on the water !

I had my overhead FPL power line buried and needed a licensed electrician to set up the conversion and install a new meter can. Dependable Electric came highly recommended by my neighbors and multiple people on my community page. George had done this many times in the last 30 years and helped me through each step of the scheduling and permitting process. His son Billy came out and completed the installation and hookup. The job was smooth, clean, and thorough. I feel like they did way more work than the little they charged and I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable electrician.
