I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel, an estimator with Universal Roof & Contracting on 08/27/2024, after I noticed an area of ceiling and wall with slight drywall and paint damage in the proximity of a steel duct junction box in my office. The source of the problem was the question posed to Daniel, i.e., was the issue the duct junction box or the roof. To answer this question, an inspection of chimney flashing, a dormer, and the shingles in its adjacent valleys on my roof, which has a very steep, 9/12 or 10/12 pitch, was necessary. My husband and I called Universal Roof to set up an appointment for an estimate to replace our roof and 3 skylights. Our call was answered promptly and an appointment was set the next week. Dalton came out and showed us the differences between shingles, walked our roof to measure our skylights and assess the condition of the plywood underneath the shingles. He was very thorough, professional and informative. He suggested we install roof vents instead of using our old vents. We had a wonderful experience with Universal Roof. The estimator, Marty Liles was extremely knowledgeable and gave us detailed information of timing and what to expect. He was great at getting back to us answering all of our questions. The crew was also fantastic. This was a large team, they worked hard and cleaned up multiple times a day! We highly recommend Universal Roof and Marty Liles.
