UF Health Rehabilitation – Jacksonville

UF Health Rehabilitation - Jacksonville utilizes a team-based, personalized approach to address the rehabilitation needs of adult patients with various diagnoses. They aim to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life. One patient found speech therapy evaluations and sessions particularly helpful for strengthening and articulating their voice in relation to Parkinson's disease. Upon completion, they were able to participate in weekly SPEAK OUT Zoom sessions for continued progress. A different patient highly praises the 8th street Rehab facility and their physical therapist, Krista Boniecki. They have noticed significant improvement in balance and strength thanks to her care and guidance. Electrical therapy has further contributed to the patient's progress. Krista Boniecki's expertise as a physical therapist, with a background in neurology, has been instrumental in a patient's recovery from CIDP.
