My son wrestles and my daughter has begun kickboxing. The facility was very nice - clean, plenty of space, and all necessary resources on site. The coaching by Roberto, Alex, and Johan is exceptional. This is a great place for children and adults to learn and grow.
Got a chance to train here for several months. Great jiu jitsu school with a defined curriculum. They also have kickboxing classes if you are interested and some wrestling which mostly caters to high school students around the area. An all around well structured set up to learn mixed martial arts but jiu jitsu is their main area of focus. The instructors there are helpful and knowledgeable and the black belt students will help you learn as well. It has a good environment of getting everyone to learn and progress in their skills. GB Jacksonville is a great place for kids and adults! You don’t just get in a workout and learn self-defense. You make friends.Coach Dean does an amazing job teaching kids jiujitsu, while instilling discipline and respect in them. And all of the kids’ coaches keep it fun and patiently work with the kids to help them develop and grow.Professor Juan and Professor Justin don’t just explain how to do a move but when and why you may want to use it. The whole GB Jacksonville team wants to see everyone learn and succeed. I couldn’t recommend this business enough if you’re looking for a place to learn jiujitsu or self-defense.
