Thank you Baptist for your compassion and care over the years. I reflect today on my cancer journey, beginning with screenings that saved my life, a persistent registrar that didn't give up on calling me back to ensure I came back in to re-image. While I was devastated to learn 10 years ago today I had breast cancer, I am forever thankful to you and your team for your swift action and the support. The downtown centered stayed open late for the biopsy, things moved very fast with scheduling, even asking the surgeon to change their plans, and care was coordinated. A navigator eased our way and everyone from scheduling to the nurses, the doctors and billing/insurance team was caring. I don't ever want to leave you because of this care. You are my first choice. Thank you to all the employees and to your system.
I saw Dr. Jivcu yesterday at Baptist Downtown after a syncopal event at work. He and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, knowledge of the situation and upon discharge the follow up necessary (if needed). He was kind, caring and took his time with me and my husband. I appreciate him and both his and the team's care. It is because of this consistent and above-and-beyond care Baptist ALWAYS provides, I refused to go anywhere else when the rescue team arrived at my work. Thank you, Dr. Jivcu for your care
Doctor was great, registration was very helpful, facilities were nice and clean. 3 stars because triage and nurse. Out of respect for my friend, I won't go into details, but the injury was severe for as long as we were sitting there. A wide open wound, we waited while people who were happy go lucky were being called back before us. Once we got back, the doctor, again was awesome. But not before the nurse was trying to discharge us before the procedure was even done. That alone made it feel like we were being rushed out. Wound wide open, needed stitches, and wanted to push us out the door. I understand it gets busy, but everyone deserves properly handled care. We didn't want to be there either. I've been to better hospitals and there wasn't much for hospitality here. Doctor and procedure was great, so these 3 stars can go to the doctor and registration.
