“Dr. Abby was quick to respond to our inquiry of Parting Paws services. Our sweet Max took a turn for the worse and she was able to accommodate us quicker than we had anticipated. Dr. Abby was so kind and caring, while I was an absolute mess. She talked us through what was happening and I could not have asked for better. I would highly recommend Dr. Abby and Parting Paws.“
“Kind staff and the surgeon was exceptional in explaining the procedure that my cat needed . Overall great experience and would recommend to my friends and family . Thanks you.“

“The team at Oakhurst took care of my special boy - twice in one month - with some very serious health issues! He is on his way to recovery and with their recommendations and expertise, he will stay that way! I cannot thank them enough!!“
“My little Gypsy received good care today, the Vet is really good, he shows you the scans, talks about his assessment, includes you in everything, it is refreshing to find a doctor that still knows how to proceed a correct diagnosis in good order. They all care about our babies fur, they are very busy and still very kind and caring. When Gypsy went missing the girls helped me with flyers and supportive words. It's really a reliable and efficient place to bring your pet, they will definitely take very good care of him. Thanks again to the crew.“
“The best animal care in Pinellas county! The front office staff is very caring and very respectful. The doctors are awesome they take time to talk to you in layman terms and very informative.“
“Dr. Lind and the rest of the staff were amazing! I scheduled an appt with them because my older poodle, Seren had what we thought might be several atypical seizures. Dr. Lind spent over an hour examining her as well as talking to me about possible causes. I had a lot of questions, and she very kindly answered them. She suggested that we could do a MRI and spinal tap to rule out anything, but at no point was she pushy about doing it. She is a very compassionate and kind doctor as well as being very intelligent and well-informed. The office gave me a quote and told me they could do it same day. When I made the appt, I was given an estimate over the phone and it was in-line with the quote they gave me. The quote included everything, and was very comprehensive. When Dr. Lind talked about additional tests, I got a little worried that it would be a lot more than my over-the-phone quote, but it wasn't. Both Seren and I felt very comfortable here throughout. I opted to do the testing, and they gave me updates throughout the day of how Seren was doing and I really felt like the office truly cared. We were very lucky that nothing bad showed up on the test, and Dr. Lind ended up prescribing an anti-seizure medication that she thought would work the best for Seren with her age and size. They also assured me that they were around to answer ANY questions I had. If you find yourself in the unhappy situation of a beloved pet having seizures or any other neurological condition, I would without a doubt recommend this team.“
“The staff and vets at Northwest Veterinary Clinic are so nice and kind to our sweet kitten, Indy. Thank you“
“I love Bayshore and my dog’s doctor, Dr. Learning. He has taken such great care of “us”! After we made it through Hurricane Helene, then Milton, stuck on the island with nothing for days, my little old Yorkie made it through, we were both worse from the wear. I took her in for a bath, no water at home, , and her goopy eyes, looking pretty beat up. I told Dr Learning that a few people wanted me to put her to sleep, he said, “No, after what she’s been through and survived with congestive heart failure, not today. They gave her a bath, gave me meds for her eyes, and he gave me a hug, and told me to drive careful to my brother’s house a couple hundred miles away. I’m so happy he was there for me! Her little eyes are sparkling again, he coat is good, and I took her for a walk just the other night!
Bayshore really looks out for us. ❤️“

“Greatest vet experience with urgent care on a Saturday. Dr Masters was terrific with my old blind bitey boy! All fixed up- infection healed quickly. Everyone very personable and helpful“
“Dr Culpepper and all of her staff are amazing. I have three dogs in their care and couldn’t be more pleased with the service that they provide. When I call for an appointment or to have one of the dogs seen more acutely I am able to speak with the same staff members that I already know and trust, continuity. If they don’t have open appointments that day and they need to be seen, they allow drop off so that the pet can be seen by Dr Culpepper in between her schedules patients. The communication from Dr C and her staff is amazing. I never feel as though they rush because they have other things to attend to. Also, Dr Culpepper is very thorough. I am a 25 year critical care nurse and Dr Culpepper answer my concerns usually before I ask them. Again, she is very thorough. I don't worry about them when they are at the clinic because I trust them implicitly and I can’t say enough good things about this practice.“
“This is a great hospital with a knowledgeable, caring staff. Our 16 year old cat, Maxx, is thriving under their care.“

“Dr Stroup and her staff have provided excellent care for several of our dogs and our resident cat queen. This past Saturday they absolutely bent over backwards to help us out with our daughter's dog Maven who was showing signs of a bladder infection and urine flow blockage.
They squeezed us in on a very busy Saturday morning on a moments notice. Dr Stroup felt large bladder stones and confirmed with an xray. Exam completed and prescriptions written in 45 minutes! While she was also handling two other patients! Thank you so much Dr Stroup and West Bay Animal Hospital! The BEST!“
“Terrific, caring doctors and entire staff plus hours and days, including Sundays, available for all needs .“
“Friendly staff. Cares about the well being of your pet. Affordable prices. Follows up after your visit to check if your pet is doing well.“
“I trust no other veterinarian but Dr. Masters. He has been Snookums and Molly's doctor since we moved down here in 2005.“
“Dr Cousin takes great care of my pup and wonderful at taking time to answer all my questions! My dog really doesn’t like strangers and growls but Dr Cousin has magically charmed her and her staff is very sweet and understanding of my dog’s fear of people. She drags me into the clinic-she loves all the treats!“
“Where do I begin! I promise it will be worth the read. And if you're looking for a new Vet Hopefully you will RUN to get established with Sunset Point Animal Hospital.
I switched over to Dr. Freeman about a year ago with my two labs; Paisley(7) and Myla(8). My mom met him at Calvary High School in Clearwater and told me I HAD to go get established with him. A year later, I feel so grateful because I'm not sure Myla would be alive right now if I hadn't. A Vet you're confident is irreplaceable and invaluable.
The Back Story: Myla hurt her hind leg just before Hurricane Milton but was unable to be seen until we came back due to evacuation. In the mean time, I tried to give her Carprofen I had on hand from Paisleys leg injury last year. I called on Friday feeling desperate for her to be seen as we drove home and they kindly squeezed me in. We started her on a treatment plan for her back knee and followed up close the following week.
Over the next several days Myla stopped eating and didn't seem like herself. Her knee seemed to be getting better but she was looking physically worse. Dr. Freeman ran some labs and took an X-ray of her belly. During his assessment he picked up on a VERY faint yellow tinge in her eyes that wasn't there the previous week. She was in liver shock.
Things got scary really quick, we had to discuss the possibility of cancer/a tumor and even the need to euthanize. As hard as it was to hear; He was soo gentle with his delivery and provided many options for how to proceed. He allowed me time to talk things out WITH him and we decided to keep Myla in his office overnight (where she was loved and comfortable) on IV Fluids to wait for his friend/college Dr. Weaver (who does traveling work) to come to his office for an emergent Liver Ultrasound the following day.
Dr. Freeman went in multiple times throughout the night to check on Myla and take her out for potty breaks. He sent me videos and emailed me with updates to ease my mind. I seriously don't think he slept.
The following day was one of the hardest days. His staff set me up in a little room where I could hang out with Myla while we waited for Dr. Weaver do an Ultrasound on her Liver. We got good news, it wasn't cancer! However, we dont know what caused this acute liver shock.
We are still in the process of figuring things out BUT Myla is making improvements and is able to ride out her sickness in the comfort of her own home. She is on IV Fluids around the clock. (So grateful they allowed me to come home and manager her here). She ate through an IV overnight and the office squeezed me in for a new IV.
I wish I could show you all his report cards from each visit. There is so much attention to detail and descriptive instructions about things we talk about in the appointment to reference back to.
Having a sick pup is so nerve wrecking but I have felt so much peace and confidence with Myla being in the hands of every single staff member at Sunset Point Animal Hospital.
I have to give a super SPECIAL thank you to Josie and Danielle. For all of the hugs, the help, the water, the tissues, the pee pads, the blankets and most importantly; for loving on Myla all day when I wasn't there. I never worried about her once knowing she had you!!!
I pray Myla makes a full recovery. She is in the BEST hands and getting the BEST care possible.
Take this as confirmation that your pet needs Sunset Point Animal Hospital.“
“Words cannot express how much I appreciate Sun surf animal Hospital. We had an urgent care need with our dog this weekend. Thank you, Dr West and all the staff. The Caring and nonjudgmental approach the staff took was much appreciated. Everything was thoroughly explained. The aftercare has been impeccable. Thank you Danielle.“
