“I was the bad customer in this relationship. I was quoted $134 for a new business moving in to a rental unit and I needed the carpet cleaned. I left key for cleaner to allow themselves in. He calls and quotes $216. Quite a jump in price. I wanted to spend. $100 and $134 was doable but $219? Ouch. He quoted the carpet was 1000 sq feet. Impossible! I rented a 1300 sq Ft unit with two bathrooms and a small kitchen with a counter. No way this is 1000 of carpet. He explains the device used to scan the area. My mistake as I was using a tap measure and had direct measurement and we were not together on numbers. He had already started and asked what to do. He is there and I need carpet cleaned. Office jumps in and provide me a 10 percent discount which got my bill below $200. I agreed to the contract. Later late in the evening I stop by the unit and the carpet looks great and I am ready to move in. This is a company that has been around for a while. Although I had a negative engagement this go around I would still hire them and I recommend their services. I would say chuck that scanner in the garbage and measure old school style.“

“I just got new designer carpet throughout my house only to get surprised with 2 miniature chihuahuas right after. As adorable as these dogs are they have the bladder control of a baby. Even though my new carpet has pet guard and cleans up easily I still couldn’t sleep because I could smell the lingering smell of ammonia so I emailed this company at 1:30 in the morning begging for help. They got back to me instantly and even though I wasted half a day getting back to them they still came out and treated and cleaned all my carpets after hours at no extra charge! Donald the General Manager was EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE AND BEYOND PLEASANT! I had a big 10ft white shag carpet that really needed treated and Donald had his crew move the furniture and roll up the carpet to take it to their offsite location with a centrifuge to get my carpet back to brand new looking. Renee and his helper who did all the cleaning were so pleasant as well, they did an excellent job! I had an area where the lighting was bad and some pee stains were missed and they came back out IMMEDIATELY and recleaned everywhere including my throw rugs and runners. My house smells SO MUCH BETTER, and the dogs are actually using the pee pads instead of the spots were they had peeing on the carpet and continuously going back to! I couldn’t be happier with the customer service which was above and beyond as well as with the in depth cleaning that Steamboat carpet cleaners provided me with! I even was left a licensed grade urine cleaner for future accidents and told I can have refilled for free anytime I run out! If I could rate them more than 5 stars I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! Thank you so much again Steamboat Cleaners for making sure to get my dog situation treated and resolved and for making after hour trips twice without any extra cost! Truly amazing service! I forgot to attach my photos but I thought my carpet was pretty much just in need of spot cleaning for the pee spots, however, I was amazed at how dirty they had gotten in the 6 months since we had them installed, because after they were cleaned by Steamboat Cleaners they looked brand spanking new and the difference was night and day!
