“Brought a male kitty to them for the TNVR program this morning. They didn't turn him away due to him being an "exotic breed" or his cleft-palette disability like other Veterinarians had. Went smoothly, staff was professional, knowledgeable & communicative. Very fast service, could've just waited out the time in their area. Happy with everything so far- kitty is still a bit bewildered but doing good! Would look into having them as our regular vet for our personal animals besides just for any TNVR cats.
(Pics are of after his visit)“
“We travel over 20 miles to bring our dogs to see Dr. Blanchard. He’s an awesome vet! The staff are also very nice and very professional. Highly recommend!“
“The staff were the best in helping our Buster Brown, a mini bull terrier, cross the rainbow bridge. They were so gentle and compassionate, allowing us time to grieve with him before he left.“
“My rescued dog had a medical emergency this past week at about 1:10 pm. I found my dog on his side at the bottom of the stairs. He was not moving. He was nearly lifeless. I was in tears crying and crying. I wrapped him in a towel and I rushed him to their office at 1:30 pm when they open after their lunch break. I told one of the receptionists while I was in tears that something happened to my dog. He asked me if my dog was a patient. I told him yes. I would have waited however long it took for them to take a look at my rescued dog. The vet tech came to take my dog to have his vitals checked within a matter of a few minutes. They were not busy at the time. I was crying and crying trying to speak. It turns out that his vitals were okay. The vet came out in the room to explain to me what was happening. She told me they think he had a seizure. It was his first. She asked if I would okay a blood test and IV to flush out his kidneys. (I did.) They brought him back to me and let me hold him and carry him. I held him and carried him. I also talked to him. Then they took him back for the blood test and IV. They told me to return at 5:30 pm to pick him up. I did. Then when I returned to pick him up they told me to drop him off at 7:30 am the next morning for another IV session. I did just that. I thought he was dying. It was a harrowing experience. He survived and is doing well now. I did not think they would take him in like they did but they did. Very happy with how they treated my rescued dog. By the way I don't think they dislike gay people. They are compassionate (and patient) to all. I highly recommend.“
“This place is amazing. The staff are sweet and the Vet is straight to the point knows her stuff n seems to genuinely care. The prices are great and fair.“
“I cannot express how thankful we are with the services of Dr. Green, Alyson and the entire staff of Westside Animal Clinic.
They treat your pet as their own and completely disregard their personal financial enrichment for the sake of the wellbeing of your pet. These are wonderful, caring, compassionate and loving people who do their absolute best to keep your pet healthy and going strong! We are grateful to have such a fantastic team in our area; you are the best! Thank you again so much for the love and care you have provided to our loving Border Collie, Joe!“
“Dr. Susan Sattler is no longer at this veterinary practice, she retired quite a few years back. However some of her employees still are like Leigh. We came today to drop off our beautiful kitty Precious, who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last night. We are heartbroken but we know she is in good hands where she will be cremated and her remains will be given back to us in a sweet urn. Thank you for being so kind to us -- take care of Precious for us pls, this one last time. Thank you.“
“Just FYI, If you have the first appointment, don't make the mistake we did and show up 5 mins til 9. Being our first visit here, we thought we were at the wrong place because the door was locked. They didn't open the doors until exactly 9, so now we were not seen until 9:30 because somebody without an appointment jumped in front of us. No big deal, just beware. Also, appointments are far out and it doesn't seem like they call you as a fill in if someone cancels cause we waited 4 weeks to get seen thanks to back 2 back hurricanes.
Everyone was friendly, including desk reception and they were great with our bestie. Just keep in mind, it's a vet, so nothing is cheap but that's ANY vet but awesome care.“
“I would like to start out by saying this was not my primary vet. I wish I knew about these amazing techs and vets when my sweet boy was still with me. He suffered from seizures that were getting worse. The night of and the day after Hurricane Helene he had horrible, aggressive seizures. His seizure medication was not working, even after I doubled it. The morning after they continued and he began vomiting blood and his coordination was off. He was 19- and I knew even though he started acting normal it was his time. I didn’t want him to suffer another seizure and see him convulse and scream and vomit blood again. We tried our vet, but they were closed. All the vets near us were closed. I called a Acupet and my husband explained the situation. They said they would take us if we came right away. Everyone was so kind, and patient. The room felt like a living room and was so comfortable. They kept asking if we were ready and seemed genuinely charismatic to the pain we were going through even though they never saw Mooshie until this day. After a few weeks I received a beautiful card with hand written notes regarding Mooshie. I would recommend them to anyone from my one and sadly last experience with my sweet boy.“
