“I cannot recommend Homestead Animal Medical Center (Vetco) highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the professionalism and care exhibited by the entire staff. The veterinarians were knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything about my pet's treatment. The facility was clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Thank you for providing top-notch care for my furry family member!“

“This is not my vets office. I was going on vacation when I noticed my pet had a weird rash out of nowhere. I needed him to be seen right away as I had to fly out in about 4 hours. My veterinarian office doesn't allow walk-in appointments, so they told me to contact English plaza. It was a great experience; the staff was welcoming, efficient, and professional. I was seen very fast. Excellent. I am also happy with my original vet, but I would absolutely come back. Maybe I'll stay here ??‍♂️?“

“02/15/2024 I felt that it was time to update my review since there have been many positive improvements at the clinic. Dr Moniz has joined the practiseShe is an amazing vet. She truly loves animals & she is very patient with anxious pet owners. Since there are 2 vets on most days the wait is not as long. And most days there is the option of being seen in the exam room by a vet Emergency cases are done as walk backs to speed up the process. Most prices are flat rate. $50 exam fee cover 1, 2, 3 pets @ 1 visit. Xrays i believe cost $125 but its same whether need 1 or 4 xrays. 3 yr rabies vaccine is $22. Because Dr Gilley believes its important for dogs to be vaccinated & protected from disease an exam is not required for vaccines.Parvo treatment is flat rate of $1,000 & includes all medicines, injections, fluids, quarantine stay even if takes 5-7 days. Most vets charge that just for exam testing, fluids & 1 nite stay. Staff clean & disinfect every nite & as needed during the day. They have to because dogs come in with issues like Parvo. But with the high volume if clientele it gets dirty fast. That high volume of clientele also means lot of stress & lot of works. Staff is always buzzing around doing something.I also appreciate that there is no judgment if a pet owner says they can not afford a procedure. There is also no judgement over an owner not realizing a dog needed treatment or if a animal comes in looking bad. They understand how quick illnesses happen & that accidents occur. Focus is on helping the animal get better.Staff is friendly & helpful.2019 review: Wait is long. Cost is lower than most vets. It's a CLINIC setting.“
