Over the past six months I have had three occasions when I got sick. One is increased blood pressure, the other is severe radiculitis, the third is severe sore throat. My visits in past years to the “ER” hospital ended with many hours there, a quick test and always a recommendation to continue the conversation with my family doctor. That is, almost nothing.Like any doctor, Dr. Salei works around a very busy schedule to see her patients. But due to the urgency of my condition, I was never denied an urgent appointment. From my personal experience in California and Florida, not all medical offices wanted to make such an exception, and then the “trouble” began.Dr. Salei listens to me very carefully, examines me, analyzes me and begins to provide all the necessary assistance. Attentive and caring. This applies to me, my wife, and those kind people who recommended this particular doctor to us.She has a wonderful team of professional, intelligent, kind and polite employees. There are no queues at the reception, there is no rush, which I have seen in other offices, because a lot of time is allocated for each appointment. Her office has never referred me to specialty medicine, x-ray, MRI, etc. offices without assuring them that I and my health insurance would be accepted unconditionally. This has always been and is real concern for me – a person and a patient. This always required additional efforts from the office, as they say here “taking an extra mile”. This is great humanity, which, unfortunately, is not so much and not so often these days. I am writing about this after 35 years of living in the USA and being a university professor.I still teach university students, now in Florida, in downtown Miami. “I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was attended to. The staff here is efficient and they wasted no time in getting things done. As soon as I walked in, the financial service rep explained how the visit would go, which was especially helpful for me since I didn't have insurance and was paying out of pocket. Tanisha, the physician's assistant, was incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable during the check-up process. Dr. Mele was swift but thorough, diagnosing my issue promptly and giving clear instructions for the next steps. The only slight hiccup was with the radiology technician, who seemed a bit rushed, perhaps because I was the first patient of the day, but it may be understandable since I was the first person of the day. However, this didn't affect the quality of care. After the procedure, Dr. Mele provided a detailed explanation of the diagnosis and what I should do next. The whole visit didn't take more than 45 minutes, which was impressive. I would definitely return to this urgent care location and recommend it to others.“

“Everything about my visit here was great and the staff couldn't have been any nicer, literally everyone I came into contact with was absolutely amazing and so kind. I had to get a medical clearance for some upcoming surgery so I was a bit on the nervous side and they were so understanding and patient with me. I only wish I had gotten the names of everyone who worked there but I will say that Guillermo the physicians assistant was awesome and really easy to talk to. I have really small veins and I'm hard to draw blood from but the lady who took my blood did it painlessly. For those people complaining that they had to wait longer than they wanted to, well obviously there's going to be a wait especially since they take their time with each patients and don't rush you out of there. I will definitely go back there should the need arise!“
