“We selected Greensmith to landscape our backyard after a pool & screen enclosure installation. The project involved water mgmt / drainage, irrigation system installation, shrub planting, sodding, flower bed preparation with edging & pine straw, and some general clean-up. They did a great job & we would recommend them without hesitation!Here are the areas where they really stood out:- Responsiveness - they quickly assimilated the info for our project and had drawings / materials / quotation within a matter of days.- Availability - we had an admittedly optimistic timeline for completing the project. Paul & Ricky made several visits to our house to iron out the details and answer any questions. Once the plans were set, the team was able to start very quickly and completed the project within our desired timeline.- Professionalism - the team showed up on time every day, had a full crew with the right skillsets, and effortlessly handled the job, including fielding the occasional interrupts from us during the project. Tim was the project manager and he expertly handled the coordination of activities and resources.- Communication - from the 1st discussion about our project through to the completion, we were never unsure about the plan or status. Paul, Ricky and Tim were all very communicative about what was happening or about to happen.“

“We had several quotes for our yard and Aitkens was the most reasonable quote. They came in ahead of schedule and put the yard down quickly. The team they sent was respectful and nice. The real reason I am writing a review, though, is to say that they went above and beyond. Christian was the manager for this job and we had an issue with our sprinklers (unrelated to the job) and panicked that our new sod wasn't going to be watered. He came in immediately and diagnosed the problem (turns out the water was off??). We hire a lot of contractors and it can be very hit or miss on quality and customer service. Aitkens provided us with both.“
