“I had the pleasure of having my first haircut with Thelma last week. Not only did she take the time to do a thorough evaluation of the current state of my hair, she asked me many questions about my hair history and challenges. There was no judgement, and she offered advice that worked with my lifestyle.

She then gave me a FANTASTIC cut. She took her time, but not unnecessarily slow. She continued to involve me in the decision making throughout, and altered her approach based on my feedback. It was very clear that this was about what I wanted, not what is easiest or quickest for her.

After she was finished we mapped out a plan moving forward. She sent me home with some ideas to keep me on the right track. I even got a follow up phone call a few days later from Frances (her wonderful assistant) to make sure I was happy and didn't have any follow-up questions/needs.
