“I am giving 5 Stars to not only Fundamental Therapy but mainly to Justin Perry! My son has made so much progress with Justin working with him! My son has seen many speech therapists over the years since he was 2! He is 6 now and I am so amazed at the progress Justin has made! My son loves going to his speech appointments every week!“
“It was okay. The physical therapists were nice & did a great job with me, & I thank them for that. But I’ll never forget the introduction “interview”. It was a bad experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. (& I’m not talking about the ginger. I like ginger.) While I was waiting for the manager, or whoever is in charge, I pulled a ginger chew out of my purse & ate it. When the brunette walked in she said under her breath, “that’s a great way to start an interview.” First of all, am I applying for a job here, or am i paying you for the physical therapy?? I’m paying “you”, not the other way around. & my tummy hurt. That rude first impression made me not want to be there. & I ended up calling & making up some excuse to not have to finish out the last week or two. & to top it off, when I offered her a ginger chew, she made a look like she was disgusted, & said, “I HATE ginger.” Rude. A kind “no thank you” would have been more appropriate. But I’ll still give them 4 stars bc the physical therapy was consistent & the PTs were kind. I just couldn’t stand the manager, or whoever “interviewed” me, & thank God I don’t have to work for her, bc she’s not so nice.“
“For years, I have had different physical therapists who all tried the same techniques that did not work. I felt they were all reading from the same book on how do elimiate knee pain. They all said the same thing - squats, core, and cardio. I still had intense pain that kept me from living my life and getting sleep. I asked for different approaches and was told I wasn't trying hard enough. They added repetition and weight to the routine. All this did was intensify the pain which prevented me from progressing.
FORGE is different. Paul looked at my posture - the position of my feet, hips, shoulders, spine, etc. He saw the things that were out of alignment and created a short routine to strengthen the muscles that were allowing the misalignment. After only 1 weekend of doing the routine, my knee pain was gone and I was able to sleep through the night! That uninterupted sleep snowballed into feeling better and being more active.
Now it is 1 month later and we have built upon my routine based on my progress. Every visit we reassess the routine and add what is needed now that I am developing those target areas. Yes, we added squats, but squats designed for what my body needs! I see progress every week and am thrilled with how I feel.
I recommend FORGE Performance to anyone who wants individualized therapy and personable, understanding therapists! I plan to keep working with them to achieve my goal of getting back to the active lifestyle I had before my injury.“
