Every student acupuncturist that treated me and the supervising professor, Al, took their time to understand my health concerns and treat them. Moxibustion relieved dysmenorrhea pain for the first time ever. Herbal supplements for energy issues and sleep disturbance. They advised me something was seriously wrong with my kidney(s)---from the tongue exam conducted every visit. I just had adrenal gland and adrenal tumor removal surgery today, and my major health issues are starting to extremely slowly go away (diastolic BP of a teenager, mental acuity returning and nerves I thought permanently damaged are regaining sensitivity). Dragon Rises is the first place I have ever tried acupuncture. I was skeptical, because I had been to several traditional doctors for issues with vertigo, difficulty with sleeping and difficulty with bowel movements. With just 5 treatments with Lori Pallais, my acupuncturist, I must say I am now a believer in eastern medicine and acupuncture etc. Lori Pallais is great. She is great with communicating, and just after the first 3 treatments, my vertigo is completely healed, I fall asleep faster, and wake up way less than I used to.
