After 6 quotes from other companies we settled on this one. They made us feel very comfortable, answered all our questions, and got us in as soon as the holidays were over. They were on time and well prepared. They removed 2 giant oak trees and a young palm tree from our front yard. “Prompt, quick, clean, and personable. They know their stuff!I looked at three companies to get quotes for the work that was necessary in both my front and back yards. The first company told me that I had to take out the tree in the front yard. I told the second company what the first company told me, and the second company agreed without inspection or questions.I was happily amazed at the information I received from Scott at Tree Cutters of Florida. Not only did he ask me questions, he spent lots of time explaining things about my trees as well as my options - one of which did NOT result in full removal of trees. All my trees were healthy and just needed to be cut back so they could up rather than out.Scott was pleasant and informative and stated he could have people out by the end of the week. (Other companies were 3 weeks out.) We talked on Monday. It was one of the really hot weeks, so I told Scott we could wait for the this particular heat wave to go through (in June) so that his workers would not have to worry about heat exhaustion. (I didn't want anyone passing out as they were cutting back my trees.)Not expecting them until the following week, I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I came home on Thursday. I had more light coming though my windows than I had had for years. TCF had come out earlier in the morning and did a GREAT job at not only getting rid of dead limbs and lower limbs, but I didn't even notice anything had been done because all the yard waste was removed, leaving a clean front and back yard AND LOTS OF LIGHT around the home. “Had a huge tree that split at a fork head height up and was beginning to crack and twist. Lucas and the owner came out same day to take a look and access what we felt was an emergency situation, as two homes were threatened by the potential tree fall. Reaching this tree in the backyard over two houses, a new drain field and removing it as it was already beginning to drop (6" in one day over the fence and on top of a shed) and doing no harm was quite a feat. Felt the team there was never less than super kind and professional. While the tree wasn't inexpensive - it required Eagerton to rent a bigger crane than they personally had, the day of service came together seamlessly and they did a fantastic job. “We recently had a huge live oak fall over after heavy rain. It fell into a canal we share with our neighbors preventing them from leaving the canal by boat. We found Advanced Tree and Landscaping on Angi's List. Though we made several inquiries for estimates, Advanced was the first to answer and first to come out to do the estimate. After assessing the job, Jose gave us a handwritten estimate and let us know he was fully insured and had workman's compensation on his crew. He also said he owned his own equipment. Most other companies would have had to rent a crane that was needed to lift the tree. After all estimate were reviewed, Advanced was not only the most reasonable, but would be out to do the work in days not months.A crew of about six arrived on the scheduled day. They went to work on the tree immediately and completed the job within three hours including clean-up. Though the tree was very large and heavy, the skilled team caused no damage done to the property in removing it. The heavy equipment did make ruts in the soil but that is expected and can't be avoided. I would certainly hire this company again.“
