I’ve worked here for 18 months , I can honestly say it takes awhile for peoples true feelings and intentions towards a certain ethnicity. I, myself have been victim of allot of undertone racism. As well as being confronted by numerous employees that things have indeed been said falsely about me and others who look like me. I possess text messages records to prove these allegations. The HR department has a “mole” , and she short stops every complaint, it doesn’t get investigated, they just plot with the person you complained on to either fire you or move you into another position to then fire you. I worked at A-1 for 3 years. It’s the worst Truss company that you could ever work for. The management is horrible and multiple people from HR and management have been fired for stealing money. If you’re an African American you’ll never get ahead there, because they believe only the Mexicans can build trusses and only the black employees deserve to stack or backplate trusses. Mainly stacking. Any of the employees I’ve ever worked with can vouch that I was one of their best employees, but they barely wanted to give me a raise. They gave me a $1 raise out of 3 years of hard work and never wanted to elevate my position. It’s high favoritism and popularity out there....read full review
I've never written a review before, but I just have to for this establishment. They deserve 0 stars. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service! I agree with the past reviews. Extremely rude! Please take your business elsewhere.
