Unfortunately, we had to relocate to the Midwest before we could break ground on our new home. We generally do not invest time giving reviews or any social media, but we felt compelled to do so on behalf of our builder. When we started this process, we were very unsure how things would go considering all of the new regulations in place from Covid as well as supply chain issues that we saw which have affected almost every area of our daily lives. My husband and I had been planning to build in SW Florida and retire there once our careers were done, so in preparation for that, we started interviewing different builders in the area until we found a few that stood out. I wanted to write this review because of our experience during Hurricane Ian. My wife and I are from the mid-west and this is our first exzperience with a hurricane. A few years ago we chose Harden Custom Homes to construct our home for us. During the planning process, Mr. Harden insisted on some job specific details that we were not really familiar with, but trusted his guidance in making them part of the build. We understood that it cost us a bit more to do it that way, but we did it trusting that the value would outweigh the cost.
