We were recommended to Lane's through local law enforcement officers. Lane's is your traditional, old-school barber shop squeezed in between other downtown stores. The owner is a kind man and the lady that works with him is extremely patient. I am great at dying hair but awful at cutting it. My brother is law is mentally handicap and his hair grows fast and unruly so we need frequent cuts. Lane's is half the price of other local barbers we used prior to finding them and they do twice as good of work. Bring cash as they are cash only, which is only a plus to me in a society that is trying to force going cashless.
They did an excellent job treating my little girl Daisy. She is back to her energetic self. Thank you Dr. Shank and her nursing staff!!!
Susan cut and styled my hair today. She listen to what I wanted and then made suggestions. I have naturally curly hair and some styles do not work. I listened and followed her advice. She did an excellent job and I am elated with the cut and style.

I am a multigenerational Floridian who's lived in Ft Meade since 1984. Prior to Dr Haag I had seen several other chiropractors in Polk county. After my 1st visit with him in 1990, I found that he is the very best and have never seen another chiropractor. My last visit was about 2 years ago this month when I returned to him in a mess. I had several dislocated ribs and many other problems, I had not been able to lift my right arm or close my right hand and had excruciating pain for several weeks. Dr Haag (as usual) knew just what to do and in 3 short visits I was as good as new. I could not believe it, not even for him. If I could, I would be there every week and several times a week. I love Dr Haag and all his staff.

Turfection has been providing lawn maintenance for my family for over 20 years. I have tried other lawn services but found they were not reliable or honest especially when I was not a year-round resident. I’ve only had one major issue over these many years with damaged sprinklers and when I asked for a meeting, they met me and we discussed it and resolved it amicably. Part of the problem was that the sprinkler heads were too high and the pipe that finally broke was over 20 years old and brittle.Before Turfection, I had other lawn services that didn’t show up regularly or at all! But because I had auto pay I was taken advantage of until I stopped the auto pay for no service when a neighbor and the HOA told me my lawn was not being cut ?.I have never had that problem with Turfection And they have a pretty simple arrangement… In the winter months they come every other week to mow and in the summer it’s every week. The pricing is so reasonable for my HORRIBLE hill on a lake and on the few occasions when they miss a week in the summer, it’s usually because of nature or work being done in our community and definitely NOT because they’re unreliable. And I honestly don’t think they’ve increased their prices in the last 10 to 15 years. So if they miss a week here and there, I really try to be reasonable and understand. I still think this company is a great value and does good work.I think like all businesses, finding reliable employees has been a challenge for Turfection. I have noticed in the last year the quality of the team that trims the edges and blows the grass off driveways has greatly improved. But, again, I try to be reasonable if something isn’t done to my liking, I contact Turfection or even better talk to them in person when I see them on the mower. I’ve never had a problem with them saying they wouldn’t or couldn’t do some thingIf you are thinking of hiring them, ask them to come out and do a walk-through with you so you know exactly what you’re getting and they know exactly what you want done and expect. Remember, if you have a lot of lawn ornaments or sprinklers or items that prohibit easy cutting, you have to consider the time and equipment it takes to mow around those things and also be reasonable in what you expect.Service: Lawn mowing & maintenance
