Dr. Scherer is everything you want in a doctor. She is personable, caring, and most of all highly proficient in all aspects of medicine. In many cases she knows more than a specialist and able to identify the true cause of a problem. Whether you need a primary care physician or a proctologist (or both!), Dr. Scherer is a first-rate choice. Medical Assistant Heather is a great complement.
Dr Scherer has been my primary for so many years in Fort Lauderdale. She is the most caring down to earth person. There's nothing I would change. Her staff is very attentive and eager to assist you. Everything is explaining laymen's terms, and no question is off base. I highly recommend her.
Aside from the fact that Dr. Scherer is a medical SAVIOUR, I’ve never come across a more efficient, competent and pleasant office staff (which is quite unusual today). Dr. Scherer’s medical assistant Heather is also wonderful, and in my 5+ years as a patient, I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. I live in Lighthouse Point but would drive 100+ miles to keep seeing Dr. Scherer and her team.
