“Was visiting the area and had looked around the area for a barber for a few days and after much deliberation, thought I would give Amercian Made Barbershop a try due to its stellar reviews. Despite calling in and being told that I needed an appointment and that there were no openings for the day, I cheekily decided to drop by to see if there might have been a chance for a haircut. And that might have been one of the best decisions I have made pertaining to my hair. Despite being Asian with short spikey hair, from the moment Shannon started, I could tell that he was an experienced barber. He used a razor blade to cut the top part, and did it so well. He was respectful and just such a pleasure to chat with. Next time I am in SoFlo and in need of a haircut, I will def come by his shop to get it cut. I really appreciate barbers like himself, where the boss takes the reins, has decades of experience on his hands and is the one who does your haircut. He is currently the only barber cutting in his shop, so be sure to book an appointment ahead of time. My haircut cost me $25 excluding tips - which is far more affordable than some other barbers in the area with less experience.“

“Jeff has been cutting my son hair for over a year now. For reference my son is now 5 years old but started when he was 4. Jeff manages his time wisely and if I schedule an appointment for 10am, at 9:58am he will be wrapping up with his last customer and disinfecting/cleaning his equipment for the next appointment. Once in a while, my schedule may be hectic so I cant schedule my son appointment until the day before and if he is able to squeeze him in, he will but he will also inform me of the possible wait time. Overall, his customer service is top tier. As a woman, I have never felt awkward or uncomfortable being in the barbershop. He allows my son to utilize his iPad while being serviced. He is gentle, kind, and pays attention to detail. Everyone always compliments how well my son haircut looks. I’ve also been to Jeff for a woman haircut which he always delivered the design/style I asked him for, not to mention he does shampoo/condition hair if necessary. If he is going out of town, he will let me know ahead of time so I can schedule my son appointment accordingly.
