“My children and I love practicing here, they have been practicing for 3 years and they are already black belts, I started this year and I feel great about training and doing something fun with the children, 100% recommended“
“My children and I have been apart of the dojo family since August 2023 and I can honestly say this is an activity that the kids are learning, progressing positively, and growing in maturity and emotional/physical health. Their coach gives them a safe space to train, to learn, and to grow while correcting them appropriately. I, overall, like the classes, but I love the connection. ? you for having us.“
“The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are very family and student oriented. The remodel looks amazing and there’s always room to grow there.“
“Wonderful Sensei (master instructor +). Excellent Shihan (teacher, instructor and usually the highest ranked). Marvelous place to visit and all the students were so nice and polite. Give them a visit. At least try for a month. You won't regret having your whole family eventually join. Hope I get to join whenever I live within 50 miles. Note: if you love God and want exercise. This is the place!“
“I used to attend as a teen and now my teen son attends. The staff is excellent. They are helpful, make you feel welcome, and super nice. The staff has always been like that even when I was there. The classes are great.“
“Master Luong is the most dedicated instructor I ever had. He was always teaching me and spiritually guiding me. Thank you Master Luong!“
“I train primarily at a sister dojo in Cuong Nhu, but I train at Mandarin Martial Arts periodically. I have been training in this style for a few years and am a green belt now. During the early ranks of Cuong Nhu, there is a foundation very reminiscent of Shotokan Karate which blossoms out into a variety of different techniques from a variety of backgrounds, some soft and fluid, others hard and strong. Since Cuong Nhu is diverse in its techniques, it is perfect for finding what styles work best for you. I am a larger person of strong build, so I find techniques from Judo and Karate suite me well. However, Cuong Nhu also opened me up to T'ai Chi, a much more relaxed and graceful style, which I now cross-train in as well as learn similar techniques in through Cuong Nhu. At Mandarin Martial Arts, you certainly get a workout, but the Senseis are all very adamant about building character and being friendly. I must also add that the prices here are very affordable. Many of the Senseis are volunteers, so they don't have the need to charge a great deal of money like many other martial arts classes around here do.“
“Beautiful dojo space, well-loved over by its students. Several budo arts exist under this dojo's roof, making it a very unique place to train in North Florida.SoShihan and his family are welcoming, warm, and passionate about the competent instruction and spread of traditional budo. There is a heart to this school.“
“Clean, loving, structured and consistent environment. Lots of fun events and holiday festivities. It’s a karate family! 10/10 recommend.“
“My mom first started seeing Mindy at Kam Lee and was very impressed with how caring and knowledgeable she is. I have enjoyed acupuncture in the past, and my mom and I are both firm believers in eastern medicine. I’m grateful I began a new journey here and I’m looking forward to continuing. This is a great location and you feel very cared for, with individualized treatment and support. Mindy is really lovely and to be receiving this level of care is special, especially in the US. Even if you’re not sure about acupuncture, I’d recommend a consultation with Mindy for herbs or even guidance as she has already been so impactful to both my mom and I.“
