My spouse recently had a few nights stay at this new hospital in Fleming Island. When I first walked in on the first floor I felt a library vibe. There was not one visible soul in the whole bottom floor of the hospital and as I walked i could see there was a small eatery that was closed. Apparently, they close at 3 o'clock. The hospital floor does look like the same design concept as Baptist South, long and lenier. The rooms are huge. They come with a huge TV and a refrigerator. The Windows are very big and the patients can direct the shades with their handheld controllers to go up-and-down. Their chair and the couch are standard. Had the BEST experience ever here delivering my baby. Did not meet 1 bad nurse or midwife/doctor. Quiet experience. Nurses were very comforting and encouraging. Never once made me feel bad for asking for anything. Id give 10 stars if I could. Only thing that was not comfortable was the beds. Wish they'd upgrade them but it's not a make or break deal for me. If I ever was to decide to have another child, I'd definitely come back to Baptist Clay.
I have been to a lot Of Emergency Rooms in my Life, but this Emergency Room Staff was the Best I have Ever Seen!!!! Hands Down!!! Fast Efficient and Most of very Thorough Medical exam and Diagnosis!!! Thank you Very much for your Support in our Community.
