I have always believed that the most important person doing your hair has got to be a great colorist hands down! I had found a great stylist right after Covid opened up the Salons again. I followed Scotty Miller to four different salons because he was THAT GOOD! Unfortunately I reached out to him to book an appointment and I was crushed to hear that he had moved to Ft. Meyers at the Red Salon. So here I go again frantic to find a new Stylist! I went on Google to look up any 4-5 star salons near Dunedin where I live. I saw the reviews of “Beauty on Broadway “ right hear in Downtown Dunedin and quickly called. To my amazement the most kind gentleman who answered the phone giving me an appointment within 3 days with EMILY! My Guardian Angel WAS DEFINITELY WITH ME because Emily is a creative, gifted, beautiful genius and a Master Colorist! We immediately hit it off practically finishing each other’s sentences. I had about an inch of grown out gray roots and my hair (naturally blonde) with highlights was totally bleached out from the summer sun. I will be 70 in October but as usual I still feel 40 in my mind. My hair was already down to my shoulders if not longer and always worried that a 70 year old shouldn’t wear long hair. Well Emily said NO I LOVE IT LONG IN FACT ID LIKE IT ABOUT ANOTHER 2” LONGER! Well I’m not kidding you after touching up my roots and adding some caramel honey colored low lights in and blow drying it into soft sweeping curls and I saw the finished process I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL THE COLOR WAS! Honest to God she actually made me look 40 again! Emily is the kindest woman, truly a professional Stylist and I thank God that she was placed in my path. How lucky I was because while discussing booking another appointment she did say that when the snow birds arrive…..they have her booked already up to Christmas. Trust me…. I booked my appointment before I walked out that door!
