“I can't speak highly enough about the treatment the whole staff gave my mother on the 9th floor. But Victor Barbosa, who was my mother's case worker, care really stood out. Unfortunately, and without good reason, the insurance company denied my mothers claim then was not allowing me to make an appeal stating that they weren't informed that I was the power of attorney. Victor asked if he could help, and then I handed him my phone to talk with the insurance rep. He then proceeded to go back and forth with the representative for the next 30 minutes and they eventually accepted our appeal. I can't begin to tell you how much this means to a person trying to get the proper care for a loved one.
