I have not written a Yelp review in a long time, but this experience warranted me logging in to do so... Went to Leonardo once, happy to see good reviews for him. I've been to some amazing massage therapists over the years, and Leo's massage was by far the absolute worst massage I've ever endured. He was unresponsive to requests for lighter pressure in that I had to continually say that it was too hard of pressure, and so on. He did not address the issue that I went to him specifically for. Felt more like I was poked/prodded than massaged, bruised and in new pain in the process. I should have ended the session early - alas, I did not. I was so desperate for help for the pain that I've been in, and I let the massage continue only to have the massage end without my primary concern getting enough care/attention* (which, honestly, at this point is probably a blessing.) Will absolutely not be going back, nor would I recommend him to others. I wish I could get my money and time back for this session. *I've been to other LMTs in the past for this concern, and know what should be done for it - what he did was not even remotely close to addressing the issue.
