Just tried to call desperately seeking a CPA since our left us in a really bad situation. Was asked how much our business makes and how much we make. We make almost $300k a year, not a lot, but not peanuts. Janis asked if we could afford their $3000 fee for taxes. I said we could and that we would pay just about anything for someone to help us. After that she proceeded to say that we were not a good fit since we didn't make enough.
