“i got an industrial piercing done a little over two weeks ago now, and here’s what i have to say. the piercer was nice, a little rough with the ear. but now i’m noticing that the bar is digging slightly into my flat, and no, this isn’t an anatomy or swelling issue, he had plenty of room to put the whole father away. and i’m not sure if this is just the norm with industrial piercings or not (i’m pretty sure it’s not), but he didn’t even ask me if i liked where he made mark’s for the holes before piercing me.UPDATE: just went back in today to get it checked out, and it’s all gonna turn out fine! he was nice and understanding, he said it wouldn’t be a big deal, so we put a smaller bar in the top piercing while we wait for the dent and bottom hole to heal. then i i’ll go back in a bit to get the bottom repierced and everything should be how it’s supposed too. i said in the first post that it wasn’t a swelling problem, and that was true at the time, but it got pretty swollen as time went on. just make sure you pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you, wether you got a piercing or tattoo, your health and safety should always be first!“
