Florida Dog With Style was recommended by a friend who takes her dog there to be groomed. I recently adopted a little rescue dog that was born with one eye and deaf from birth. He gets startled easy and does not like anyone touching his face or fussing over him. When I called Valeria to make an appointment for him I explained he has a few little "quirks" and I wasn't sure if he would let her groom him after trying to bite the vet on his first visit. (lol) She said she would be happy to try so she made us an appointment that was her last one of the day so she could spend a little more time working with him. When I brought him in for his first grooming before she even took him in the back she spent some time in the front petting him and getting to know him with me there. She had me pass him back and forth with her so he would know she is always going to give him back to me. It was very interesting how she was using this method to gain his trust. Well, long story short, I came back 3 hours later to pick him up and she was holding him in her arms and he was cuddling. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a groomer. Valeria, Thank You for spending so much time and patience with my little Bandit! I think he enjoyed his first day at the spa! I have already recommended Florida Dog With Style to some other friends. What a wonderful experience for both Bandit and Myself!

Mrs. Valeria is the best. Her waiting room is absolutely gorgeous! My dogs sometimes go to see her looking pretty scraggly and when I pick them up they are beautiful. And they smell great! If there's something you don't like about your dogs cut she will go out of her way to make it right! The prices are the best in town. I highly recommend this groomer!!!

Took my Hans to Valeria for the first time today because my regular groomer takes snowbirds before her regulars and had no room for months. First rate! She squeezed my boy in and what a great experience! He has the best cut ever in his two years on earth! I will never take my pups anywhere else!!
