Gary is an incredible luthier. He took my literally unplayable Ovation and made it sound amazing and so easy to play. The guitar with the neck so jacked up and bowed and action so high never sounded like this from day one. Just plugged it in and it rings out like an Ovation should. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!
Upon entering The Guitar Exchange I was greeted by Gary. I needed a tuneup on my 1974 Gibson Les Paul. After a brief conversation I realized that not only is Gary a skilled guitar technician but also an accomplished musician. Needless to say he did a great job with my guitar, it hasn’t played this well in years! Regardless if you’re a professional or a beginner Gary’s easy going demeanor and expertise is worth the visit.

I’m so glad that I was turned on to The Guitar Exchange. Gray the owner is really a down to earth good guy. I’ve bought 2 guitars from him in the past 5 years. His price are on point and I love to support a local small business. Gary makes it easy in a relaxed atmosphere when shopping. Honestly is more like checking out guitars with a friend then dealing with some of the sales folks at the large chain stores. Gary really wants you to to be happy with your purchase, never pushing anything or upselling. In addition if you need some TLC for your guitar Gary is your man.
