Eagles' Haven is a magnificent community resource. In the aftermath of trauma, Rebecca Jarquin, LCSW and JAFCO have built a vibrant, welcoming place for healing and connection. Over the years, I've referred many clients to Eagles' Haven programs, services, and support groups. The feedback I've received is invariably a message of gratitude for the skillful, nurturing staff and volunteers. Broward County is blessed to have such an important site for transformational growth.
I recently visited Danielle's acupuncture class at Eagles' Haven. I was so impressed with her knowledge of Chinese medicine and the way she relates it to western medicine and our minds and bodies. Her sincerity , empathy, and skills created an atmosphere of serenity and inner peace.
This place is magnificent - extraordinary - resourceful.Community is gangsta, loving, growing and healing. Beautiful community.Come take a class or weekly. Art, exercise, yoga, therapeutic fitness, pain relief, Acupuncture, meditation and sound healing, therapeutic guitar, dog training, and smoothie bike. Literally each one of those plus more.Have a balanced day.
