Miami Breast Institute, a Solis Mammography Company

After multiple years of ‘benign’ mammograms + ultrasounds at another place, I went to Miami Breast Institute this year. I had again a mammogram and an ultrasound, both ‘benign’. However the doctor who interpreted my results recommended an MRI due to the fact that my breasts are very dense and the other exams may miss cancer in dense breasts (nobody ever told me that). Thanks to the recommendation of doctor Carbot I was able to find out the stage 2 4.5 cm carcinoma who wasn’t visible on the other scans! I had a double mastectomy and thankfully it hadn’t spread. So grateful for having come across this place, they literally saved my life with that recommendation.

I can’t express enough about how amazing the staff/team at Solis mammography is.
From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave, they make you feel welcomed.
The atmosphere, the intimacy, the care they put in your wait time is amazing.
It’s hard enough when you’re going through a difficult time, but it’s so wonderful to have A place where people care about you personally.
I recommend this place for anyone.

I booked 6/17 for a 6/18 appointment at 8:15- booking was easy and quick online for a screening. I arrived at 7:45 and by 8:15 I was walking out. The ease of it all was very much appreciated. The staff was friendly, welcoming and the tech who did the screening walked me through each step. I was highly impressed.
