About LA Fitness
LA Fitness is a well-equipped gym that offers a wide range of amenities. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, and a Kids Klub. The staff are described as friendly, and the gym is generally clean. However, some equipment shows signs of rust, and several cardio machines have been out of service for an extended period, which affects the experience. The gym can be crowded at any time of the day, making it challenging to use certain equipment. The location is convenient, and the facility is large and organized. The daycare is spacious, and the employees who watch the children are kind. Management is attentive, with employees like Fabian showing great care for the gym, which makes a significant difference. Personal trainers, such as Bella, are highly recommended for their motivating and fun workouts, as well as their ability to help clients achieve their fitness goals. While the free weights are often not returned to their proper places, creating some disorder, many members appreciate the variety of machines available and the overall cleanliness of the gym.
Staff is nice enough but 1. Most equipment is rusty and many cardio pieces are often down for service and 2. The free weights are never in order. I realize this is the responsibility of the members but I’ve been to other LA Fitness locations where the members respect this courtesy - it all starts with holding people accountable. I come here because it is the most convenience location but it surely isn’t the best by any stretch of the imagination.
Many options of machines to choose from! Only reason why I didn’t rate 5 stars is because few machines are out of service for the past 3 months and I’m curious to know why they haven’t been repaired by now… 🤔 Besides that everything else is pretty clean and well maintained.
I've been going to this particular LA Fitness for 15 years - and it has never felt cared for like it does now. I've never seen employees care about this gym like Fabian and the rest of the crew here does.
