There are not enough stars to positively rate and share our appreciation for Jamie, owner of We Are There HomeCare. My father's health suddenly declined and we were 2,000 miles away. Jaime not only found a WONDERFUL (Nora) caregiver to go immediately to my father's house but took time to go, as well. His caregivers - Nora and Matthew - were there even when we arrived. Hard working and full of love. Even in my father's final days, Jamie came over to the house so we had the ability to get my father out of bed and seated looking out at the Gulf of Mexico with the doors open and a warm breeze. We SO appreciate Jamie and his wonderful team. THANK YOU & LOVE from Ralph's daughters.
I have a different take on We Are There. I've recently become an employee. You wouldn't think that's much of a big deal. But for me, it was. I had been out of the work force, home with the kids, for about a decade now, and the last few facilities I had worked for, were nothing to write home about. To say the least. So I was Dreading my return. I filled out several applications and prepared myself to go back to being overwhelmed and underappreciated. That's what happens when you're an aide, right? Absolutely outstanding, family owned and closely managed. I had initially sought referrals for care services through insurance and then through recommendations of my doctor and just kept hitting dead ends and people who could barely talk on the properly or politely on the phone. Then I found ‘we are there home care’ thank goodness. I was in a strange situation, I only needed two days of nurse care so I was worried about having a stranger in the house, but I was having a major surgery and absolutely needed somebody to care for me afterwards (I’m in my 40s & and an athletic active mom, so not used to being laid up).
