Customer Service is Everything. In a time of inept customer service caused by lack of compassion by most workers (these are the times we live in), there is still hope. Here is my timeline - 01/2021, new VPF flooring purchased and installed. By 06/2021, the flooring began to exhibit signs of deterioration of cupping and bowing, along with exuding a liquid material which caused the floor to start "rotting". I immediately reached out to the sales rep from Bob's who sold me the floor initially and he came out for an inspection. Thus began my journey with Bob's and defective flooring. Between 06/2021 to date, I have been working very closely with Bob's to get this unfortunate issue resolved. To say it wasn't frustrating, would be an understatement. However, the one constant which kept my sanity and me as a customer from unleashing the wrath I severely wanted to for the shear irritation surrounding the situation was Dean, the store manager at Bob's in South Sarasota. He was extremely patient, courteous and did everything in his power to help rectify the situation that never should have occurred. Like others, I experienced some issues with the installers, but through all that, Dean remained, kind, communicative and fair. In the end, I received a brand new, gorgeous floor and couldn't be happier. Even through the trials and tribulations, I learned a lot about the flooring process, and I encourage everyone to check out the store. They have some amazing folks working there, happy to help when you are ready! Dean, words cannot express my gratitude. Bob's truly is lucky to have you in their corner.
