Martial Arts Schools in Cape Coral

“I was on my phone looking up about Aikido and I was surprised that there was a school in Cape Coral, just an hour from home. I was curious and called the phone number on the page. (239-677-4331) This was my best decision that same day to talk and to visit Sensei Joe. The Aikido’ s mentality he talks about feels well aligned with the lessons that I receive from my inner teachers. I seek enlightenment. The place is clean and organized and that makes me happy. Sometimes there are children around. They're so much fun and it's a blessing to watch them while they train. The lessons are interesting. Sensei Joe is a very detailed teacher who closely follows the progress of his students. He has so much energy! And he's also creative. You'll never be bored at the dojo. Discipline, perseverance, consistency, empathy, and patience are just some of the qualities that we can develop by practicing Yoshinkan Aikido and that inspires me to continue advancing on this journey. I feel safe while learning the techniques and I am always excited to come back for more training. I am grateful that Sensei Joe and Yoshinkan Aikido are now a part of my life.“

“I've been taking my two kids here for almost 10 years. It's a second home. My son wanted to try a different sport, so we signed him up for summer camp, and the rest is history. When issues come up over the years, the staff and owners address them professionally and are very supportive.

My son is now an adult, a black belt in Karate, and also did BJJ, MMA, and different weapons classes. I see so much positive growth in most aspects of his life due to what he learned being a student and eventually becoming an instructor here. My daughter just became a karate assistant instructor and also takes archery. She's grown more confident, mature, and better at her technique too. She loves the instructors and the friends she's made who give her support.
