“I recently moved into a home just off Amelia Island ( I couldn't afford anything nice on the island.) About a year after I moved in the air conditioning system went on the fritz. I called another company and they wanted $7000 to replace the whole system. OMG that's a lot for a system that I had just spent $1000 in repairs. After a day or so I calmed down and started looking at other options. It took me 3 days to figure out the guys working on my Trane system didn't really sell Trane products. Duh! So I looked up a Trane certified repair company and found Ed's. Called them, they came out and made that $7000 repair job for $500. The unit just needed a new control module for the fan. Go with the repair company that handles the unit you have. Home Depot handles Trane but they just sub everything out and add a charge on the top. Ed's is the place to go for Trane (which turned out to be a pretty good air conditioner.)“
