About Jukido Academy | Jujitsu & Karate Self-Defense

Grandmaster Chu and I trained together 35 years Korean Judo/Yudo and Taekwondo competition and H2H. This is the way I train and encourage others to do so. there are so many water down after school play time schools that only give martial arts a bad name. Not this program not only impressed but warms my heart to H2H Judo training is alive and doing well!
I've known Sensei Rego of the Jukido Academy for a few years now. My child is a green belt in his class. The difference Sensei Rego has made in her life is simply incredible and I am grateful. His class has taught her structure, hard work, self defense, and more. Sensei Rego in the years I've known him never changes. He has a strong work ethic and he does an amazing job knowing all his students strengths and weaknesses. This Jukido Academy helps build self confidence while teaching real world self defense techniques. This is a truly amazing dojo. I have been participating here for 9 years now and I have only learned things beyond useful in life. From discipline, to the moral code (bushido), I have become a much better person in and out of the dojo. My work ethic, politeness, and ability to do the right thing has come from Jukido Academy. I am also an assistant in the children's jujitsu program, not only have I seen major growth in the kids in the class with their technique, politeness, discipline, and overall being an amazing group of children, I have also seen a major improvement on how I think of them. There is a whole other side to me when it comes to teaching younger students and it brings out the best in me and the students. Also, Master Rego has truly done amazing things for me and my family. He is kind, always willing to help, and a true follower of bushido, just an amazing person. He is extremely patient with the children and adults in both classes and has a way of teaching where anyone can understand the techniques. I highly highly recommend Jukido Academy for anyone looking for true realistic self defense based martial arts, self improvement, or a place to learn strong morals. My whole family and I have noticed a major shift in how we are as human beings and i'm sure you will too!
