Hello, Tammy I want to let you know that I am part of a rescue here in Miami. It’s true that many of the dogs we send to Mandy have been abused and mistreated by breeders. It’s heartbreaking to see the conditions in which they are handed over and kept. They are confined in cages for long periods. As a rescue, I can tell you that all we can do is help them and try to place the dog in healthy conditions. However, sometimes they require additional medical treatments, and it becomes a team effort between the vet and the adopter, who plays the most important role in saving their lives and giving them the home they need.

Ziggy’s went above and beyond to help me save a bearded dragon that was very much neglected by its owner. Not even 24 hours after taking the beardie to Ziggy’s he looks so much better! He may actually have a chance! When we called them to ask if they’d take him, even though they didn’t specialize in reptiles they didn’t hesitate to do everything they could to help! I cannot thank you enough!! You’re a lifesaver!!
