“Thursday night I started having severe pain in my right eye. I called my eye Dr. first thing Friday morning, but he wasn't in on Fridays. The pain was so bad that I was going to go to either the ER or Urgent Care. But, I also thought what could they do for me, I don't think they have the equipment to examine the eye. A friend recommended I call Dr. Linda Paey at Walmart Eye Center. I called the Walmart Eye Center on Cortez Blvd. I talked with Orchid, nicest, sweetest person ever! She spoke with Dr. Paey and they told me just to come in and they would squeeze me in. I did and Dr. Paey was also so nice, caring, professional and her first thought was to make me comfortable. She found my problem and took care of it. She also gave me contact lenses to put in my eye so my lid didn't rub on my eye and irritate it again, it worked! It felt great! She also asked me if I had ever wore contact lens. I had years before. I was to take them out before I went to bed. They were different from ones I had and was unsuccessful getting it out. First thing this morning I called and spoke with Orchid again to see if I could come in so someone could take it out. Dr. Paey was there on a Saturday! I couldn't believe it! With their busy schedule, Dr. Paey said come in and they would again squeeze me in, no problem! I didn't have to wait long and Dr. Paey examined my eye and saw everything was fine. She got the lens out in 2 seconds. She said if my eye was scratching again, put another lens in, she showed me exactly how to get it out and said if I needed help again come right back and she would take care of me! WOW! Dr. Paey is such a special Dr. and person. She really cares, my friend was right! Thank you again Dr. Paey and Orchid!“
