Best Mexican food in town. The lunch fajita deal is unbeatable. If there is one chink in the armor it's the chips. The salsa is wonderful, for its smooth, tomato-y type (Chuy's salsa pico and creamy jalapeño sauces still win overall). The chips at just average. Still doesn't keep me from eating a fair few. Back to the fajitas. Beef is outstanding and lots of onions. I pass on the green peppers just more grilled onions. The beef is well trimmed without the gristle in some of the other Mexican restaurants in town (check out my other reviews). My wife loves the enchiladas, though some of the other lunch specials are just as good.
We have been coming to Linda Vista (formerly Mexico Lindo) for years! We love it! Everything we have gotten has been really delicious and fresh. If you have not tried the enchiladas suizas, DO IT NOW! You will not be disappointed! Chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and queso. Seriously, my mouth is watering right now! Pictures is the lunch portion. We frequently get the pick 5, which is plenty to share between two [very hungry] people. Pictured also is the dinner size chicken and steak fajitas. So yum. They have a coupon of gift certificates and more Nothing negative to say about this place. Always leave happy and full!
Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere. I have no complaints about them but nothing jumps outs as exceptional either. I have been eating here for years and the restaurant has changed names like three times. There is indoor seating, bar area and outdoor seating. The drinks are pretty good but nothing special. The food is good on portions and I have never had anything I didn't like. I really like the chimichanga. It is massive and if you get it with queso on top you will be glad you did. Free unlimited chips and salsa. The service is good and the people are nice.
