“I started having lower back pain a couple years ago and just dealt with it (ignored it) until November 2022 when the pain got significantly worse. I was skeptical of chiropractors but when I saw the abundance of excellent reviews I decided to give Valrico Spine and Rehab Center a try. The team at the front desk was so warm and welcoming, and the facility is pristine. I saw Dr Ethan who took time to listen to my concerns and stunned me with his medical knowledge. He performed a few non-invasive tests to see if he could determine my issue and sure enough, found resistance in my right hip area. He did some massaging and stretching of my lower back and then did just one quick adjustment before using a special massager to target the sore area. Afterwards I was lead to the room with the TENS machine and I really enjoyed the heat therapy. It was such a great experience and I'm happy to report that my pain completely subsided after a couple of weeks of doing the recommended stretches. Fast forward to May 2023 and I had a very different pain in my mid-lower back. This was not the chronic pain I had previously but an acute pain that came out of nowhere. I went back to Dr Ethan and this time he did some deep stretching and massaging of my back and recommended if the pain happened again I should get an MRI, which he kindly wrote a script for. I appreciate that both my visits were treated with individual treatment plans and neither included a full body adjustment which was my naive preconceived notion of what chiropractors actually did. Dr Ethan blew my expectations of a chiropractor out of the water. I can't say enough great things about Valrico Spine and Rehab Center. UPDATE: October 2024, I haven't had any issues since doing my stretches and exercises "prescribed" by Dr Ethan. But after Milton came through our town we had a lot of yard cleanup to do. My back started to flare up again. Went in and realized how much I missed it! Everyone at the front desk is so kind and welcoming, the facility is pristine, they have complimentary coffee and comfortable chairs in the waiting room. The wait is never long at all. I was so happy to see Dr Ethan again. The deep back stretches he does on the table are so nice when your back is stiff and sore. Then on to the tens machine for a bit and I come out of there feeling like a new person! I will forever sing Valrico Spine's praises!!“
