They deserve 5 stars if it weren't for Paola, customer service and Bernadette, Assistant Manager's service. EVERY TIME I go to Calusa it's amazing whether it's for my two pups or for my family/friends pups. If I go they always answer the phone kindly and ready to help!!! My 8 month old Bernedoodle was bleeding from his behind. I called his primary vet but he is on vacation. I was advised by his amazing assistant to contact Calusa, as this is where I go for emergencies. Typically, they are helpful immediately. I am not sure where to start? Compassionate, Professional, Knowledgeable, Patient, Understanding, Mindful.... is the team at Calusa Veterinary Center ("CVC"). After 15 years, my fur baby Max passed last Thursday. Unexpectedly. I was devastated. I brought him in for Emergency Care. In seconds, Max was in the care of the necessary professionals. I had expectations, if you will. CVC, exceeded such. I relied on the knowledge of Dr. Goldberg and Vet Technician, Cornell. I am certain ... MAX and MYSELF couldn't have been in better hands. Wish I could give a 10 stars and Exceptional rating! We have been coming to Calusa for nearly 2 decades. Over the years, a dozen cats, 3 were barn cats, and a couple of pups, we currently have 2 kitties, we have run the gamut of veterinary needs, some very rare and serious. Every ounce of attention and detail to our fur babies' health is taken. Dr. Cindy Krane has been and is our primary doctor. She has guided us with knowledge, care and empathy. When we needed specialists, Dr. Krane got us the best (eyes, cardiologist, cancer, amputation, genetic disorders and so on...). Amanda, Suzanne, and Rosemary have been stedfast with us as well.
