The owner contacted him stating basically he was stealing scrap wood that the other owner (Tom) said he could take home. When it was an issue with the owner Derek brought it back to the job site. Saying on the phone to him how he can't even get to work but our roommate at the time was his transportation. He only missed one day of work and then TODAY gets threatened by saying he has lawyers to handle his reviews. What does that mean?. Not sounding very professional but if anything like a bully. What happened to freedom of speech? heard the owner on the phone trying to blame anyone and everyone including our own hardships were going through. By saying things "I guess that's my fault too huh." I told him none of my hardships were his problem. But obviously my husband was discriminated against and overall the owner just wanted to belittle him instead of trying to figure out where the miscommunication was, he lost a hard working valuable employee and made him to be like he was nothing.
