“Favorite quality of Contoura.. It's trustworthy. No one has ever tried to "sell me" anything here. By that I mean, no one is telling me I need to have certain work done, or pushing me to get fillers because I am of a certain age, or suggesting procedures I've never thought about before. I genuinely keep coming back because of the friendly staff, and trust. Now if or when that day ever comes where surgically I'd like to have something done, I'd choose Contoura. But for now, I'm happy coming here every few months for things like skin care, sun damage repair, advice (that's a big one) etc. Living in Florida, you Need a good skin care plan & regimen to keep the sun damage away. With skin cancer running in my family, I try to stay ahead of the matter as much as I can. A few years back I did a series of IPL laser treatments that really helped reverse some of the sun damage I did in my teens & early 20's by laying out on the beach entirely too much. Contoura's also helped me with embarrassing things like hormonal adult acne. I never thought I'd have to go through a mild phase of my teenage years all over again in my thirties but, there I was a year ago, trying everything under the sun on my own to get rid of it and nothing was working. I booked an appointment at Contoura to express my concern and the remedy was way easier than I expected. Tretinoin. That cleared everything up real quick plus helps with fine lines &/or wrinkles. A two for one? I'm in! (If there are any women out there reading this wondering why you are breaking out when choosing to discontinue birth control, try tretinoin. This should help the issue in less than a week's time) Ok now that I've way overshared in this review, I need to give a huge thankful shout out to Becky! Over the past couple of years, I've booked appointments with Becky at Contoura and her advice and company while visiting Contoura is always a real pleasure. I genuinely look forward to seeing her and catching up with what's going on in her life. I've raved about Brookes in my 5 star google review a few years back and I definitely stand by that statement. Brookes is wonderful to book appointments with and a pleasure to see, always. Now it's time I rave about Becky here on Yelp, and Destin! Both women will tell you the best advice for keeping a youthful glow that's catered to your skin, and help you achieve that goal. I honestly can't rave about all of the staff enough. I would not keep coming back year after year if I didn't swear by the results myself.“

“I needed a boost, running on empty. You ever wake up and just know, if you can't bounce back- you are going to get sick? We were about to leave town and the last time I traveled I got so sick! I wasn't about to repeat that. So I mentioned I would go to an IV "bar" and the google search began. John found this location at the St John's Towncenter and I booked online for the same day. Beautiful, clean and calming office. I checked and filled out some paperwork and was taken back to a room. A video of hiking through a forest slowly played. We reviewed what I was looking for- immune boost, energy, a detox- give me all of it- aka, the Kitchen Sink. Yes- I got the mega bag. I hard to prove to be a difficult stick, so the nurse went and got her handy vein highlighter- check out the cool picture! I made it through my trip happily- no fatigue, no sickies! And I had glowing skin! Bonus! I will be back for more!“

“I think this is the first time I've ever been to any kind of doctors or dentist office where I didn't have to wait 10-30 minutes past my appointment time to be called in. My appointment was at 2:15, I got called into the exam room right at that time (if not a bit early), the exam was fast and efficient - I had a couple suspicious spots removed and I was back in my car by 2:37. That's my kind of appointment!! Staff seemed friendly. Very convenient location.“

“I am an RN and witnessed Dr. Matheson in the operating room personally. I was not only impressed with her skills, attention to detail, listening to her patient’s concern , but most importantly her honesty. I am a Florida native and love the beach. Like most of us Florida natives, when we were younger, sun screen was never heard of and we soaked our entire bodies in baby oil. Yes, I’ve had facial peel before and only got minor flaking from it… basically nothing. Dr. Matheson performed segmental peel on my face with a medium peel to most of my face and a deep peel around my mouth. It has been 14 days exactly and the results are amazing thus far but they will continue for at least 3 to 6 months as my face will continue to regenerate collagen. My face is so clear, smooth and looks like a brand new baby’s skin and my results are no where near done! Do not let my pictures scare you…. It’s a process.
