I have been looking for a hair salon that just gets it right. My previous experiences at other salons were not great. Not only is this place the right price, but Kayla was amazing with de-knotting and cutting my 4 year olds hair. And she was also amazing cutting mine. Exactly what I wanted. She really listens and doesn’t just do what SHE thinks is the right haircut. Also, she’s awesome to chat with. I will be her regular customer and I suggest if you’re looking for a new hair stylist, that you go see her! You won’t be disappointed.

My Salon Suite in Altamonte Springs is on the 2nd floor of the building with both stairs and an elevator. You have to call your hair dresser's suite number and they will let you in when ready. There is a small seating area to wait. The suites are newer and larger than a couple of others I've seen. The suite has a sliding glass door and walls that go up to the ceiling so you don't hear and smell what other beauty providers are doing. It's easy to get to - right off Hwy 436 and there is plenty of parking.

I don't get my nails or toes done professionally a lot these days but I went for my wedding mani/pedi back in August last year and told her I felt like this was the first real pedicure I'd ever gotten. She is so thorough and really focuses on you and listens to and does exactly what you want.
She was able to treat my hair and bring it back to life. The shampoo service was a 15/10! She even did a steam treatment and made sure my hair was moisturized. She was super quick and I wasnt In the chair all day! I was in and out in 2.5 hours and that’s also including her servicing two other people she is phenomenal. I have no complaints. I got a natural style with two strand twists to give my hair a little break from braids and my hair feels so soft and bouncy!! I’m definitely going to be back!

She recommended Christina to me as her replacement which already told me to expect great things from her. My hair is one of my pride and joys so I am very picky about who I let style it and Christina did not disappoint! I have been going to her ever since and have not had a single bad experience. Denise at Hair Essentials has been my go-to stylist for over a decade, ever since she was in her original place in Maitland. You feel welcomed and right at home from the moment you walk in, greeted by her or one of the other stylists working. There is a consultation before any haircut or color begins, where she looks closely at the inspiration photos you have brought and asks any questions in order to understand what you're looking for and make sure you leave happy. I've gotten compliments from friends and coworkers on every cut and color I've gotten from her, and always look forward to my next visit!

I wanted to leave this review here about my wonderful experience with Izzy. I will say all the girls here are amazing. I typically come in the last hour of the day and they all are very friendly. But Izzy really went above and beyond. I was interested in doing bed tanning, as my go to has always been spray tans and I’m pretty pale I’ve been too nervous to try it. She was so patient and very knowledgeable. I came in an hour before close on a holiday. Even with that and her being busy she was patient and gave me all the time I needed to ask my questions so I wouldn’t be nervous. I will say you never know when one interaction can change someone’s day, but she did that for me. She made me feel so happy with my purchase and the experience just left me knowing there are still kind and nice people in this world. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

love this place so much!! the place is very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. it is very easy to schedule an appointment virtually or over the phone. i have switched between builders gel and gel x for my nails, i prefer builders gel. the staff members are able to do designs and make sure you get the nails you want. always very happy with my nails here ☺️ i recommend lee!

I've switched to this location from an EWC that was closer to home because the quality of her work is something you can't find anywhere else. You can go to Raelyn at EWC Altamonte and not even have to check her work because she is going to clean up everything and not miss a hair on your body. She's absolutely phenomenal!
The Waxing the City Altamonte is the BEST I've experienced since I started waxing...so long ago... The are very professional, they ensure you are comfortable. Throughout the process they ensure you are comfortable, they show you the different stages and confirm they are giving you the services you requested... some of like thin eyebrows where others not so thin... I love that they stop, speak with you and show you what they see and/or suggest.

I went to Eden Spa in Altamonte today I was having issues with my prosthesis and bra. Selene was amazing she made me so comfortable instantly she measured me and said that I had gone down two sizes that was the problem. she showed me different bras and wanted me to choose what I would be happy and comfortable with. although the gel prosthesis is very heavy I like it much more than the light one so I was pleasantly sureprised when she told me she had a gel one that was much lighter. I was thrilled it was so comfortable especially with the new bra. Selene was patient, professional and very friendly. she represents Advent health in a very positive manner. Donna at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly she said Selene would be right out while I was waiting we chatted a bit she offered me water before I went back. as I went to check out she made an Afro me and ask if I was satisfied with what I picked out I said very satisfied. About 2 weeks ago I came as a walk in. I recently lost my soul dog of over 15 years and knew I wanted to see his name on me forever. I had driven past and saw this location so I took my chances and was fortunate enough to get in with Bear. It kinda felt like destiny he would be the one to do this tattoo. It was also cool he is a fellow dog lover and Disney fan! They took care of me and were very nice and professional. If I need another tattoo or piercing in the future I’ll definitely be back.

I visited the shop tonight and pierced my nose with my cousin. Our piercer was so very patient and quick. No pain at all and he accommodated my cousin’s needs and was so understanding. I’m not sure of his name, but I believe it’s Nico. You should definitely visit him for piercings.

I was dealing with a bad breaker at my condo complex I had 3 different Electricians out there nobody could fix it or get me a new breaker fast because the part was so old and out dated I went almost 2 weeks with no air-conditioning and half the house with no power I got a hold of Cody and his partner Joe on a Saturday they came down looked at it and got me the new breaker to me with in 3 days! We've used Word of Mouth a number of times, most recently last week. Led by a certified arborist, they do a great job recommending what should and should not be removed. They come when they say they will, let us know exactly what they're doing, clean up completely, and let our neighbors know they would be in their yard to get to our trees. Hire them!

The Joint Chiropractic is a chain. Their Altamonte Springs location is located near the Altamonte Mall within a strip of other business, including Jersey Mike's and Moe's. I first sought out The Joint when I began experiencing horrible sciatica pain (the diagnosis came from the ER when I went in due to the excruciating pain). Dr. James and his team have been fabulous! I honestly was hesitant to go in because I hate the "cracking" sound, but I was desperate. Dr. James thoroughly explains what's going on, the maneuvers he's about to do and why. He calmed my nerves and my back pain, which is why I opted to subscribe to one of their Wellness Plans. It's an investment into myself and an important one at that. I now enjoy my chiropractic adjustments and feel so much better after each one. I highly recommend The Joint Chiropractic's Altamonte Springs location.

I never have trusted chiropractors, largely because of distrust my parents always had---that they (chiropractors) would claim to be able to treat anything, would subject you to long treatment plans and programs, the cost, etc. I went to Dr. Bennett for my low back pain today and . . . none of that. He actually told me that I had muscle pain from tightness in my hips that he couldn't help by manipulation. He then spent nearly an hour examining me thoroughly, stretching me, and treating the pain with ultrasound and electrical stimulation. He told me I'd probably be sore leaving (I was), but that I would feel way better by the time I got home (I did). I've grown so cynical and so tired of doctors not caring, being too busy, and not helping me. Well, this guy is WAY different. I have a background in Exercise Physiology, and this doc knows his stuff. Just an amazing experience, and he actually talked me OUT of coming back if I didn't need it. THANK YOU!
Dr.J has been our vet for ten e years since we moved to Altamonte Springs. He is the most thorough vet that we have ever encountered. He treats our dogs like they were his own. His staff is very well trained and know our pets by name. Our pets are very close to them as well. Ellen his office manager is very thorough and let's use know w hen our pets are due for vaccinations and meds. The acupuncture Dr Fasano used did wonders for my little Chiweenie who had a neck and back injury that was causing him lots of pain and lamness. My dog also has a sensitive stomach so he responded so much better to the all natural pain relief and anti-inflammatory products that she offered as an alternative Vet. My Chiwee is well on his way to being 100%! ???

Dr. Matagrano is phenomenal. She is the only vet that my dog ever felt comfortable with. He loved her! Until the very last breath, our Max always felt happy and safe with her and she made our last moments with him so peaceful and beautiful. Max was able to transition surrounded by love and Dr Matagrano stayed with us through it all.
She took care of Max for years and we always felt comfortable with her. Her office staff is top notch! I don’t know if we will ever get a dog again, but if we do, Dr. Matagrano will surely be their vet because she is our vet for life!
Helped my Dobby and gave me medicine for him at a reasonable price. I got a next day appointment, which was a lot cheaper than going to an emergency vet. Didn’t turn my cat away for his aggression, he just had to be sedated. The vet’s assistant was very kind and gentle with my cat, which helped him not to be so afraid (he was slightly sedated in the photos).
I liked the vet here. He helped my cat. He was making jokes and being friendly.

I attended the Gentle Flow class, which was great for my needs, due to arthritis in the knee and lower back issues. It was a bit warm in the room, maybe because of the class next door, so bring water to stay hydrated. During one of the floor exercises towards the end, my back was lower to the floor then at the beginning of class. I was truly impressed. This class was exactly what I needed. I will be back!

I wanted to support a local massage place, in part because the big "chain" massage places are so annoying with their high pressure push for memberships (and those memberships are hard to get out of). Black Pearl Massage is exactly what I was looking for -- no high pressure anything, just a comfortable, well-appointed, calm, relaxing environment, and a fantastic massage from Tayshawn. The massage beds are heated just like at the "chain" massage places, and there's a fan in the room if you need it cooler. I have a medical condition and he was so respectful of my needs, very professional as you'd expect. I definitely plan to go back.

In town visiting family and stopped here after a long day at Disney. I walked right in and was seen immediately. Nice and quiet environment. I've seen some reviews saying the pressure was too much which surprises me--it felt like the perfect amount for me. I got the 30 minute deep tissue and foot massage which relieved much of the soreness from yesterday's hike around Epcot. Perfect stop for tourists recovering from a day of fun.

The staff were nice on arrival offered water smooth transition to getting massage not a long wait. The change of clothes transition took a little long but the massage was on point after putting back on clothes the water was needed and wasn’t offered that’s my only suggestion but the experience did make me want to go back to getting monthly massages again smooth experience.

Dr. Stephanie is a really great naturalist doctor. The herbs that she prepared for me have helped with my anxiety. The only thing I have to say is that she has increase the cost of her acupuncture which I find a little steep. I would like to do my acupuncture more frequently, but at the price that she is asking for is not possible for me. I would recommend Dr. Stephanie To anyone that is seeking help for anxiety or for any kind of health problem they might have.
