This Dr. Office is above and beyond. The patience, kindness, and outstanding care given out daily by the Drs and staff is the best I’ve encountered. Dr Smith is very patient and took a lot of time to explain the surgery I needed. The types of lenses and their pros and cons were well described. They set you up for ultimate success. I don’t have a single negative to expound. Thank you so much to all of you for the excellent care.
Today was my first appointment at this practice. I had recently switched jobs and had new insurance. The office staff worked together—at length—to figure out my insurance. My old insurance was still showing up active—but shouldn’t be—and my new insurance was coded wrong by my employer. The girls made phone calls and tried everything until they found it—with smiles on their faces and no complaints. I have to say that for a situation that took so much time, they could have rescheduled me and told me to go home and figure it out myself but they didn’t. I had cataract surgery performed by Doc Smith. Pre & post surgery took longer than the surgery. Doc Smith called me both evenings after the surgery. Who does that? I had issues with my left eye, not due to the surgery. I walked in, no appointment & the practice fit me in. Who does that? I highly recommend the staff here, especially doc Thomas. She's a Navy doctor & takes good care of this veteran.
