Dr Shyu is an outstanding ophthalmologist . Not only is he highly skilled, but he truly cares about his patients. From the moment you enter his office, it is obvious you will be well cared for.

Dr.Shyu was absolutely wonderful and incredibly thorough during my appointment, while staying incredibly patient with my questions and concerns . The entire process from check in with Jennifer and Cindy to initial eye exams with Nikki, the entire process was a breeze !

The staff was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. Doctor Schu was knowledgeable and kind. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. They clearly think the patient is the most important part of their job.The office building is a little older but don’t let looks deceive you!

Dr. Andrew Shyu (pronounced shoo) grew up in the suburbs of San Jose, California. He completed undergraduate studies at UCLA and went to medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. He then completed ophthalmology residency at Temple University. He is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Andrew enjoys watching sports, and playing soccer, pickleball, and tennis. He enjoys hiking with his wife, and teaching new tricks to his pet corgi, Doug. Dr. Andrew Shyu is honored to take over the practice from Dr. Richard Sherry, who is well-known and recognized in the community.
