Electrolysis is the only FDA approved form of permanent hair removal since 1875. Electrolysis can remove any hair no matter the color, density, or hair pattern. Electrolysis work great on melanated skin and is amazing for women with PCOS and Hirsutism. Men also can benefit as well ! ingrown hair removal, ear and nose hair, mostly any hair! A thin prob is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle then a current is sent to the cells that are responsible for hair growth destroying the cells therefore inhibiting hair growth. Finally tweezers are used to remove the hair gently with no resistance. Most people find electrolysis less painful than waxing or threading. The pain is described usually as a slight pinch or heat sensation .
